finding a trade
You can find trades on almost any social media (instagram, twitter, etc). There are a lot of ways to find a trade, but here are the three easiest routes you can take;
Search hashtags. Trade posts will be listed under 'wtt' hashtags. For example, if you are looking for stray kids photocards, you would search the hashtag #wttstraykids, #straykidswtt, #wttskz, #skzwtt. You'll notice the 'wtt' can go either before or after the name of the group you are looking for.
Make a trade post. Make sure you specify these things in your post: whether you're also selling the pc (wts or nfs), where you are located (usa, canada, eu, asia, etc), where you are willing to trade (within your country, or ww), the name/store/album of the photocard/item you are trading if applicable, what trade you are looking for (for example; any wl, or specific equivalent), and the availability (usually indicated with a check mark or X emoji). You'll want to include a picture of the photocard with your username handwritten on a piece of paper in the same picture. After posting, go to your comments and comment hashtags that relate to your post (DO NOT put wts if your pc is not for sale! also, do not put hashtags of unrelated groups! doing either of these things is very rude and wastes time)
Look through ISO posts and wishlist highlights. Search wtt hashtags, or iso hashtags (for ex. #isosoobin, #isotxt). Make sure you have pcs that the person is looking for, do not try to offer someone pcs they are not looking for. You can also offer pcs on someone's wl (you can find wls on instagram story highlights, pinned posts, etc). Make sure that the person is open to receiving trade offers for pcs on their wl first before messaging them.
(Instagram only) look at tag accounts! search 'group name' tags (example stray kids tags) then a bunch of accounts will pop up. look at their profile to see the posts they are tagged in. invite them as a collaborator if they allow it, or tag them in your posts! you can search for any kind of tag account; wtt (group name), wts (group name), (group member) tags, etc! example accounts: ateeztags, wttateez, seonghwatags

finding a reliable trade partner
When you find someone to trade with, read their info. Some people have a special emoji in their info that they want you to send if you've read their information, or they'll ignore your dm.
Proofs are photo evidence that you have successfully traded and shipped an item to a buyer without damage or scamming them. The more proofs someone has, the more reliable they are. Make sure to look at proofs carefully. On twitter, they are usually in their proof hashtag, or are put under a pinned post. On instagram, they are almost always on the story highlights section of their profile.
Either dm the person, reply, or comment that you are interested in trading. Don't commit to the trade before seeing a condition video of the pc. Ask them for a video of the pc, and make sure their username is clearly visible in the video. You'll want to also check that they have flash on or a light shine over all areas of the pc. Make sure you also send a video of your half of the trade like this as well.
Packaging proof is the next step of a trade. Give your info to your trade partner (name and address). After writing their address on the envelope, send them a picture (we call this an address check), and make sure you also show them your packaging in the same pic. Don't send out your trade until they have confirmed the address is correct.
Send out proof is the final step. Exchange videos of dropping your respective halves of the trade into a mail box.
Let your trade partner know that your trade arrived! Either take a pic and tag them in your story, or dm them a picture of the pc to note that it safely arrived.
Packaging is important to ensure your items arrive without damage. Use a card sleeve, toploader, and tape it to a card. Use washi tape and memo pads (don't write directly on the card) to make everything as reusable as possible. I won't go into detail on how to package pcs: there are a lot of great youtube tutorials on how to package pcs safely and aesthetically.
To learn what "wts" or "wtt" means, please look at my terms master list on the home page.
why did they ask me to send my half of the trade first?
When someone asks you to send first, it means you don't have very many proofs. I had to send my half of the trade first many times when i started this account. I would only seek out people who had a lot of proofs and seemed trustworthy. If you are uncomfortable with this, then don't trade.
what if my mail gets lost?
Then it gets lost. Most accounts will mention they are not responsible for lost or damaged mail. When it is out of your or your trade partner's hands, it is not their responsibility what happens to the mail. If you are afraid of this happening, then don't trade.
what if my trade partner doesn't send their half of the trade?
This situation is unfortunate, but happens very rarely. Should you be scammed, make a DWAYOR post. Make sure you reach out for at least a week first and check their story to make sure they aren't simply on vacation. If they do not respond after multiple attempts and/or block you, then go through with making a DWAYOR post. If you aren't sure how to make one, look at the #kpopdwayor hashtag or a dwayor tag account on ig and format it based off of those posts. To see what a DWAYOR is, please look at my terms master list on the home page.

buying/selling
* This section does not apply to group orders. *

selling a pc
Selling/buying a photocard is easiest on social media apps instagram, twitter, and resale apps like depop and mercari (I have found the cheapest prices on instagram/twitter). Sites like Mercari, Buyee, and Pocamarket are also common, but are more expensive.
The main way to buy or sell a pc or item is to use hashtags and search tag accounts. List sale posts under 'wts' hashtags and tag tag accounts in your posts. For example, tag skztagged if you're selling skz pcs. Or you would search or use the hashtag #wtsstraykids, #straykidswts, #wtsskz, #skzwts. The 'wts' part can go either before or after the name of the group you are looking for.
Make a WTS post. Make sure you specify these things in your post: whether the pc is also for trade (wtt or nft), where you are located (usa, canada, eu, asia, etc), where you are willing to sell (within your country, or ww), the name/store/album of the photocard/item you are trading if applicable, the cost of shipping, the cost of the item/pc, and the availability (usually indicated with a check mark or X emoji). You'll want to include a picture of the photocard with your username written on a piece of paper in the same picture. Tag the tag accounts in your post (if on instagram). After posting, go to your comments and comment hashtags that relate to your post (DO NOT put wtt (group name) if your pc is not for trade! also, do not put hashtags of unrelated groups! doing either of these things is very rude and wastes time)
Look through ISO posts, WTB tags, and wl highlights. Search wts or wtb hashtags, or iso hashtags (for ex. #isosoobin, #isotxt, #wtbtxt). If you are selling, make sure you have pcs that the person is looking for, do not try to offer someone pcs they are not looking for. Also, don't offer pcs if someone has 'buying ban' or 'buying hiatus' on their profile. You can also offer pcs on someone's wl (you can find wls on instagram story highlights, pinned posts, etc). Make sure that the person is open to receiving offers for pcs on their wl first before messaging them. It is very rude to offer pcs when someone is not looking to buy at the moment!
PRICING is very important. Look at pricing accounts (skzpricing for example) and go through their story highlights on ig. The only pcs with variable pricing are broadcast/streaming cards and signed polaroids, which are very limited and can go for hundreds of dollars.
Packaging is important to ensure your items arrive without damage. Use a card sleeve, toploader, and tape it to a card. Use washi tape and memo pads (don't write directly on the card) to make everything as reusable as possible. I won't go into detail on how to package pcs: there are a lot of great youtube tutorials on how to package pcs safely and aesthetically.

buying: finding a reliable seller
When you find someone to buy from, read their info. Some people have a special emoji in their info that they want you to send if you've read their information.
(Instagram only) look at tag accounts! search 'group name' tags (example stray kids tags) then a bunch of accounts will pop up. look at their profile to see the posts they are tagged in. invite them as a collaborator if they allow it, or tag them in your posts! you can search for any kind of tag account; wtt (group name), wts (group name), (group member) tags, etc! example accounts: ateeztags, wtsateez, seonghwatags
You can also make an iso post! Find a cute ISO template on Pinterest or canva, tag the tag accounts, and use hashtags like wtbgroupname, isogroupname, wtbmember (for example #wtbtxt, #isotxt, #isosoobin).
Proofs are photo evidence that you have successfully sold and shipped an item to a buyer without damage or scamming them. The more proofs someone has, the more reliable they are. Make sure to look at proofs carefully. On twitter, they are usually in their proof hashtag, or are put under a pinned post. On instagram, they are almost always on the story highlights section of their profile.
Either dm the person, reply, or comment that you are interested in buying. Don't commit to the sale before seeing a condition video of the pc. Ask them for a video of the pc, and make sure their username is clearly visible in the video. You'll want to also check that they have flash on or a light shine over all areas of the pc.
Packaging proof is the next most important step. The seller will send you a picture of the pcs with your address in the same photo. Here you will check your address and make sure that it is correct. Some sellers send a picture of your address separately from pictures of your pcs/item, and some don't send packaging proof at all (read their info).
Send out proof is the final step. The seller will send you a video of them putting your pc/item in a mail or drop box. Some sellers have a lot of mail to send out at once, so they will mark your letter uniquely with either your username, a drawing, or a sticker on your mail. Some sellers do not take send out videos for tracked mail.
Let the seller know that your items arrived! Either take a pic and tag them in your story, tweet at them, or dm them a picture to note that it safely arrived.
To learn what "wts" or "wtt" means, please look at my terms master list on the home page.
selling: becoming a reliable seller
Collect proofs. A proof is photo evidence that you have successfully sold and shipped an item to a buyer without damage or scamming them. The more proofs you have, the more reliable you are. Make sure to put your proofs in an easily accessible area (instagram highlight reels, pinned tweet, etc). For instagram, make sure you share the story that the buyer tagged you in, or take a screenshot of the chat.
Be nice and well organized. When someone tells you they are interested in buying, be ready to send them a video. Put your username in clearly in view. Turn your flash on and shine it over all areas of the item or pc, front and back, to show that it has no damages. If you are selling a damaged item, make it clear in the description of your post, and discount your item depending on how significant the damage is.
Packaging proof is the next most important step. Give the buyer a picture of the pc/item packaged or unpackaged with their address in the same frame. Here you will have them check that their address is written correctly. Try to make your handwriting as neat as possible. For USA sellers, I recommend Pirate Ship for tracked and international shipments.
Make sure you give them send out proof. This is a video of you putting the pc/item in a mail or drop box. If you have a lot of mail to send out at once, mark each envelope uniquely with either the buyer's username (ask them if they are okay with that), a drawing, or a sticker on their mail. If you are sending out a tracked package, share the tracking number with the buyer.
To learn what "wts" or "wtt" means, please look at my terms master list on the home page.
what if my mail gets lost?
Then it gets lost. Most accounts will mention they are not responsible for lost or damaged mail. When it is out of your or your seller's hands, it is not their nor your responsibility what happens to the mail unless there was an issue with postage. If you are afraid of this happening, then pay for tracked shipping with insurance.
what if my seller never gives me my pc after I buy it?
This happens sometimes. Should you be scammed, make a DWAYOR post. Reach out multiple times first and check their story to make sure they aren't just on vacation or hiatus. If they don't respond after multiple attempts and/or block you, then go through with making a DWAYOR post. If you aren't sure how to make one, look at the #kpopdwayor hashtag or dwayor tag accounts and format it based off of those posts. If you sent via G&S, you will be able to get a refund after chatting with paypal support (if you are confused about how to get a refund, then please look up tutorials online.)

group order guide
* i will not be covering how to be a gom; please find tutorials online, or on youtube, which describe the process in depth far better than i can. i personally learned everything i know by joining gos. *

what is a go?
First, please take a look at my terms master list before reading the info below (I'll be using a lot of abbreviations in this section)
GOs are held, or hosted, for a variety of reasons; saving on shipping, member sorting for your bias, etc. I recommend finding a gom based in your country whenever possible.
GOs are most common during a group's comeback. Look out for GOs for certain stores, pobs, etc. GOs are also common for pcs being sold in a set. Many sellers do not have time to sell pcs individually, so they sell them all in bulk. This is one of the best ways to find rare pcs for a good price.
Before joining a group order, read through the description of the post and a gom's info thoroughly. Payments are usually divided into two - initial, then ems/dom. However, they can also be combined into one payment or divided into three - initial, ems, and then dom.
After joining a group order, keep up to date by the gom's preferred method. Some goms have an updates highlight (ig) or thread (twt). When your items arrive, send proof that they have arrived!
For information on how to find a good gom, review the 'finding a reliable seller' section under my buying/selling section on the home page. The same applies to goms, however, it is important to note that goms do not have the photocards on hand and usually do not send videos of your claims.
finding a go
Finding a group order is easiest on social media like instagram and twitter. The primary way to join a group order is by searching hashtags and tag accounts.
Search hashtags/tag accounts. Group orders will be listed under 'go' and 'grouporder' hashtags. For example, if you are looking for stray kids group orders, you would search the hashtag #straykidsgo, #skzgo, #straykidsgrouporder, & #skzgrouporder. Or search 'group name' tags (example stray kids tags) then a bunch of tag accounts will pop up. look at their profile to see the posts they are tagged in.
Follow goms; you can easily find them on instagram stories when people share the post of the GO they joined, through recommendations from your friends, or, once again, you can find them through hashtags.
(Instagram only) look at tag accounts! search 'group name' tags (example stray kids tags) then a bunch of accounts will pop up. look at their profile to see the posts they are tagged in. invite them as a collaborator if they allow it, or tag them in your posts! you can search for any kind of tag account; wtt (group name), wts (group name), (group member) tags, etc! example accounts: ateeztags, ateezgotags, seonghwatags
Every group order has different rules. Read through the description very carefully before asking a question about the GO; double check that your question isn't answered anywhere in the post or in the gom's info.
To learn what "go" and "gom" means, please look at my terms master list on the home page.
how do payments work?
payments vary from group order to group order. read your gom's info to learn about how they collect initial/ems/doms payments and addresses
in general, goms will use a variety of ways to collect payments. some collect them in 3 parts: initial, ems, then doms. some collect all 3 at once. others collect in 2 parts: initial, then ems/doms
your gom will either use a form or take payment proofs - usually a screenshot of your payment - through dms, a google form, or some other way. again, it varies from group order to group order.
how does member sorting work?
This is one of my most asked questions. Member sorting is very common in group orders, and the process changes from GO to GO. Below is the most common method I have seen so far.
Why member sorting? Some websites will send items randomly instead of even sets, so sometimes member sorting is necessary. Side note for album inclusions if your gom offers it, you may read that you can either buy them sealed or unsealed (sealed = no member sorting, unsealed = member sorting).
What is member sorting? Sorting happens when there's not enough pulls of a certain member to go around. If everyone wants Soobin and I only pulled one Soobin, they will have to sort for him. Once the gom has everything on hand, they will let everyone vote on a time to sort. At that given time the gom will share a sorting form. The order the sorting form is filled out is the order that determines who gets their top picks.
The sorting form is the most common method goms use to determine member preference priority. Usually everyone will vote on the best time for the form to go up, then can preview the form so they can fill it out as quickly as possible when it opens at the decided time.
But what if I'm too slow? What if I don't end up getting the member that I want? Those are valid questions, and I can't answer them. This process is used to make member sorting as fair as possible. It is always possible to trade the pcs you end up with once you receive them. If you are uncomfortable with any of this, you are more than welcome to not join member sorting GOs, claim sealed albums instead, and/or try your luck on your own.
what if my mail gets lost?
Then it gets lost. Most accounts will mention they are not responsible for lost or damaged mail. When it is out of your gom's hands, it is not their responsibility what happens to the mail. If you are afraid of this happening, then opt for tracked and insured shipping.
what if my gom takes the money and disappears?
This situation is unfortunate, but happens very rarely.
